Sain opiskelijavaihtopaikan Oslosta, Statens Hantverk og Kunstindustriskolan taidegrafiikan osastolta. Aloitin 2002 alussa ja kevättalvella sain mahdollisuuden tehdä serigrafiaa Oslon taideakatemialla, kun mieltymykseni serigrafioiden tekemiseen kuultiin. Pelkästään mahdollisuus keskittyä vain siihen oli äärimmäisen arvokasta ja arvostin suuresti sitä, että se järjestettiin: Minua kuunneltiin ja kannustettiin tekemään taidettani. Kun kysyin, löytyisikö ideoita, mistä voisi tiedustella elintarvikekartonkia ylijäämänä, osasto tilasi vielä valtavan pinon hienoa isoa paperia minua varten. Tämä työ oli lämmittelyä silkkipainamiseen, ja sen myötä jatkoin pitkään tämän tekniikan parissa.

I was offered a student exchange position in Oslo, at the Graphic Arts Department of Statens Hantverk og Kunstindustriskola. I started at the beginning of 2002 and in the spring and winter I got the opportunity to do serigraphy at the Oslo Academy of Fine Arts, when my preference for serigraphy was heard. Just having the opportunity to focus on just that was extremely valuable and I really appreciated the way it was organised: I was listened to and encouraged to make my art. When I asked if there were any ideas where I could scout for leftover food cardboard, the department ordered another huge stack of nice large paper for me. This work was a warm-up for screen printing, and with it I continued to work with this technique for a long time.
