I present some avenues of reflection for a comparative approach of the tattoo as an artifact, the body becoming a landscape and a representation of identity. Especially with the work Tattoo: les serments brisée where the arm occupies the main space of the copper plate. It is straight, directed towards something that one does not see. The hand is closed, hiding small pieces that fall, like small segments of life. The horizontality of the arm refers to the construction of the landscape while the vertical of the fall of the small graphic signs ensures the human presence in space.

Työssäni esittelen vaihtoehtoisia tarkastelutapoja tatuointiin luomuksena, kun kehosta tulee maisema ja identiteetin ilmentymä. Erityisesti tämä tulee esiin työssäni Tatuointi: Rikotut valat, jossa käsivarsi hallitsee suurinta osaa kuparilevyn tilasta. Käsivarsi on suora ja oikaistuna jotain sellaista kohti, jota emme voi nähdä. Käsi on nyrkissä pitäen sisällään pieniä putoilevia palasia, kuin elämän osasia. Vaakatasoon asetettu käsivarsi viittaa maisemaan, samalla kuin alaspäin putoilevat pienet graafiset merkit vahvistavat ihmisen läsnäolon tilassa.
